Great food! Good prices!

Not only was the breakfast great, and the service friendly but the HOMEMADE BLACKBERRY PIE was out of sight. Was in our cooler for 3 days before we even ate it! Who knows how amazing it would have been with a cup of coffee and ice cream at the Owl Club!!!
11/19/2008 - Surprisingly good steaks at the price
This is a steakhouse and family restaurant attached to a casino. The steaks are really quite good, and the food overall a cut above what I'd normally expect from a place that advertises itself as a "family restaurant". The prices are low, especially given the quality of the food.
On the down side, thick cigarette smoke drifts in from the casino next door and permeates the whole place. (Ick) The wait staff is also slow, and prone to get into deep conversations with each other, meanwhile ignoring their jobs. Despite that, our food usually arrives on time and hot, so the slowish service is more an annoyance than a serious problem. If I owned the restaurant, however, I'd stop it.
There aren't many choices in Battle Mountain, and this is one of the better.
