Went through the drive-thru Tuesday Evening, April 16/13, and received the worst Customer Service right from the beginning. Employee was sighing through the headset, and when ordering wraps, was advised it would take 7min and confirmed that would be ok. I advised "that's fine". Got to the window to pay and immediately knew the amount was not correct whereas it was a big order. Buddy was extremely short and rude with me, there were 2 other people in the car with me ho were stunned. After sitting there and tying up the drive-thru for the wraps, he came back and immediately began "fake" coughing because I was smoking a cigarette. He then told me he has lung problems, therefor I suggested he not work the drive-thru then. He continued to be rude and when I asked for his name, he told me and offered I speak to his manager right there and then and slammed the window closed.
I have worked in Customer Service for most of my career, 17-18years and this is NOT how you treat your customers. The employee's name was Mike Chapman and he needs to learn if your going to work with people, then you treat them the way he wants to be treated. I want to hear back, and I want to know that he has been repremanded for this!!! I am tired of dealing with teenagers who do not respect others, especially if your going to work in the business dealing with people. I enjoy Wendy's, however I do not eat there often for this very reason. Employess need to be taught how important Customer Service is!! I expect to hear back from you, and what measures were taken with Mike Chapman, if it is ignored, nothing will be resolved and you will continue to lose customers over this!
