Try the battered cod at Chafe's Landing in Petty Harbour for a taste of authentic Newfoundland cuisine. The cozy atmosphere, complete with wooden furniture and old country music, adds to the charm of this local gem by the sea. Despite some hiccups in the service process, the delicious fish and chips and friendly staff make it a worthwhile dining experience in Newfoundland.

Tried to go into this restaurant to have lunch with seven girls from Calgary and they informed us with the 3-hour wait time that's kind of sort of ridiculous in my mind for a family restaurant

The worst fish and chips , the grease was all over the plates and fries where over cooked, Over priced crap food.
