The food at this restaurant is really good, especially the onion rings. However, parking can be a challenge and the restaurant side may be understaffed at times. Despite these drawbacks, I plan to return as I enjoy the atmosphere and convenience of ordering takeout.

Just came back from 56 kitchen on Som. Must say it was pretty good. But,,,, we ordered the Flank Sinatra for take out. For the price of 15$ there was only 4 tiny slices of steak on it. The dressing was good, but if your paying 15$ for a steak salad there should be steak on it. The old cafe56 had plenty on it. My Pewter Mug salad was delicious! Hope this helps them make it right for the customers.

Always have a great meal - many times. Whether it's take-out or dine in, a fabulous meal. Great staff and cozy setting.

Had the takeout lobster roll special offered Thursday night. Wonderful, packed with lobster roll, great potato salad and tasty slaw. Only thing that would have made it better would have been toasting the roll, ,,would have kept the roll from getting to soft from all that filling. Yum!

had dinner there tonight, for my husband to say we'll never go back except for a burger or beer is pretty pathetic. His 'meatloaf special' was and looked like a left over burger with bbq sauce on it. The mashed potatoes weren't. How can you screw up mashed potatoes??
My pulled pork bruchetta app was a stretch aslo. I've heard negative reviews for 56 Main but wanted to give it a chance. Better get a better handle on the food or else you'll be one more Enfield enterprise that bite the dust. Disappointed
