The seafood at this establishment is exceptional, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the scallop roll and shrimp roll, both of which were cooked to perfection and packed with fresh flavors. The service was quick and the atmosphere cozy, making it a great stop for a satisfying meal during your visit to the area.

*** “RIPPED-OFF†BY THE TAMARACK RESTAURANT ***
On the way home yesterday we stopped at the Tamarack Restaurant in Laconia, NH to get a lobster roll. I asked the attendant why the $29.00 jumbo lobster roll was so expensive & she said that it was on a foot long roll & had 8-ounces of lobster meat in it, so I figured what the heck & in spite of it’s somewhat pricy nature we deserved one, so I ordered one anyway, & told the attendant to prepare the order to go as we had an hour plus ride before we would get home to eat it.
Well, let me tell you that when we got home & opened the container to eat, we were really shocked to see that we had been royally ripped-off!! Our Foot long Lobster Roll turned out to be only 7 inches long, & it was on a hot dog bun!! (See attached photo)
Jumbo Lobster Roll my -ss, Jumbo Rip-Off for sure!!
On top of all that I discovered that the Tamarack Restaurant had the balls to charge me an extra $1.14 for using my debit card without telling me.
I’ll tell you citizens of New Hampshire & visitors to our great state, STAY AWAY FROM THE TAMARACK RESTAURANT if you value your hard earned money!!
Needless to say we will never go there again!!!

Took friends from FL to lunch here. Jumbo lobster roll($25.99) was hardly "jumbo." After all how much can you stuff into a small hot dog roll? Clam roll($14.99), again with a small hot dog roll, had 5 measly clams in it. Order of onion rings($7.29) was small with overcooked crumbly rings(not batter dipped as we had expected.) Oh, and bottled water was $1.99 each. Place makes lots of money in the summer bilking tourists and visitors so it doesn't have to stay open in the winter.

Best lobster rolls and fried clams outside of Maine!
