Always go to Tilton diner whenever come to NH. Been doing it 2-3 times a year for about 20 years. Never have been disappointed till now. Went there yesterday. My husband ordered chicken sandwich. Was okay in the middle but so dry on the outer part he only finished 1/2 of it. I ordered a meatball sandwich. And asked them not to include the salami. It came smothered in melted cheese so removed more than 1/2 of it but it was missing the marinara sauce which was supposed to be included. So ate only some the meatballs cause it was so dry. Service was very poor and waitress couldn't have cared less. Very disappointed. Not sure if I'd go back.

Ordered the shepherd's pie and it had a half an inch of grease in the bottom. Disgusting!

I have ordered many meals from these fine folks. I have not had anything go wrong with my meals. I especially love their Shepherds Pie. I have had Liver and onions, fish and chips, hot turkey dinner, hamburgers and some breakfast's. Everything was fine and very well done.

Good came out cold and quality has gone down hill. 13.00 for 4 steak tips and veggies was a little much. Used to love this place, now we probably won't be back again.

Stopped in yesterday and had such a wonderful lunch. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious with yummy sweet potato fries. My husband had the country fried steak and really enjoyed it. Said it was a little tough but it was so tasty, he didn't care. He was so surprised that it was a real steak and not Hamburg or cubed steak. My only regret was I was so full, I couldn't have one of their delicious pies.
