When I want to stay local instead of heading to New Haven, my top choice is Modern's the Works Pizza in Madison. I especially enjoy the welcoming atmosphere at the Madison location with its dine-in bar area and attentive staff. The gluten-free pizza is a standout, and the generous portions and delicious toppings make it a must-try for pizza lovers passing through the area.
