04/20/2023 - Dissatisfied!!!
Milford Cracker Barrel has always been a good place to go over the years. I live locally and decided to take my daughter for breakfast due to my cooking a huge family meal the night before. Arrived and got seated fairly quickly and the help were pleasant. Waiter was pleasant too. Ordered basic breakfast fair and a new Chicken and Waffle dish. All the food was fair and not very hot because they waited to serve us together so all the food on the plates were different temps and none of them hot. Wasn't going to complain and decided to just eat and enjoy. I dug into my eggs over easy and as I withdrew the fork from my mouth, I felt something tugging a little and proceeded to pull a blondish or grey wavy/curly (pube?) hair out of my mouth. I didn't bug out like a crazy person and asked for the manager. He arrived promptly and semi apologized but said he had no one with grey or blonde hair so it must have fallen off someone's clothing. I went and spoke to the manager on the side and asked him to explain his answer and he reiterated that there was no one on staff with that color hair cooking or serving. I again told him it was not ON my food, it was in my food underneath, otherwise I would have seen it and not put it in my mouth. He stuck to his guns and took the price of my breakfast off, I tipped the waiter $5 so he wasnt screwed out of the money either. I asked the same manager again for the district manager's name and phone number. I have been calling them for 2 days to speak with Angela Ramos at 888-856-1853 ext 8249 at their Tennessee HQ but apparently I find out that she does not take direct calls and her extension is unreachable. So I was sent to customer care or some department to have them deal with me and again, for 2 days no one has called me back. So The food situation is reprehensible and their management/customer service doesnt care apparently....might be why they are starting to close some their stores in some states? WILL NOT BE A PATRON OF THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN....a very dissatisfied ex-loyal fan of this establishment :(
