Been going for years, best pizza anywhere, skip New Haven, excellent dinners, also, pasta, chicken parm, all delicious, great portions and we appreciate the reasonable prices and mid-week specials.

I grew up in the Valley. and it always had a great reputation. Recently we have been going back while visiting family there. Still has THE BEST food. Their pizza with garlic is absolutely fantastic. However, service is slow and DON'T GO ON HOLIDAYS. We were there on a holiday last year and waited f50 minutes for a seat, but worse than that, we waited 1 hour for our food (pizza) to come out.

The food here is beyond compare! It is a small building and dining area but that makes it feel homey. I read complaints about the staff. I have been there many times in the last ten years and I have always been treated well. I bring out-of-the-area people there and without exception they have loved it. Our favorites are the lobster ravioli, the lobster penne, the chicken parmesan, all their pizzas and especially the seafood pie. The latter is very expensive but as a treat, and especially with a group, it is totally worth it. There is so much seafood on the pizza that I have tried to eat two slices and been unsuccessful! It makes good leftover lunch the next day or two, thank goodness. Keep an open mind and your taste buds will not be disappointed.

You have to"GET"Roseland. People that work there are wonderful , hard working people. They seem rude because they are usually very BUSY. I GO THERE FOR GREAT FOOD NOT CHIT CHAT.

excellent pizza but totally agree. They have not a clue how to treat people. They would be even more successful if they canned the attitude.

The pizza itself is very very good if not on the expensive side for the market. (Think Greenwich Village prices in a falling apart building in a decrepit small town. ) The staff of 50 and 60 year olds who have worked there 'forever' have this entitlement attitude and treat the customer like a problem they have to deal with rather than the source of their fortune. If you happen to be in the area, the pizza really is good. But bring your Platinum Card and your patience. You will need both.
