Delighted to discover Scala Italian Bakery in North Brunswick - a true taste of Brooklyn charm! Their freshly baked goods are simply irresistible, from the empanadas to the crusty rye bread and soft rolls. The selection is impressive, with everything from delicious donuts to perfect cannolis, making it a must-visit for any bakery lover in the area.

I travel over 100 miles to enjoy the wonder delights that Scala's has to offer. Their birthday cakes are second to none!

Flew East from Southern California (where nobody knows what a real cheesecake tastes like) to entertain my elderly aunt's helpers at One Steep at a Time...Kathy at the tea place (clever name) offered to pick up and serve the best cheesecake this 73-yr-old Italian gal ever tasted...we froze half so my aunt could continue to enjoy it...and I've had a yen for that cake ever since...Does anyone have any ideas about getting my Italian Cheesecake to me here in SoCal anytime soon?

My Friend Mary K, who told me about SCALA BAKERY, in North Brunswick and their REAL RICOTTA CHEESECAKE, when I told her if I had to eat one more Cream Cheese CheeseCake, I might hang myself, It had been years since I had a REAL ITALIAN RICOTTA CHEESECAKE and I had given up on trying to find one in my area.
Unable to go there myself due to being Disabled, Mary went to SCALA'S and picked up the MOST WONDERFUL RICOTTA CHEESECAKE I have had in YEARS!
Being a Widow, I knew I couldn't eat the entire Cheesecake myself and had no one to share it with. But there was no way I was willing to let it go bad. So I called SCALA'S BAKERY the next day to ask if I could freeze half of it. The woman who answered the phone checked and told me I could.
So Thank You SCALA BAKERY - You have just made a Senior Customer for the rest of my life and all the other Italians I know that make the drive to Staten Island and Brooklyn can save the Tolls and come to YOU!
