Arrived close to closing time on a busy holiday weekend, but the manager kindly accommodated us. The omelettes were generous in size and served with crispy hash browns and warm toast. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere made for a pleasant dining experience, and I look forward to returning to try their pulled pork with Mac and cheese.

Different name now. But it's still a pretty good place.

I've been to this restaurant several times with my family. We always get great service here. The food is okay- pretty much what you'd expect from a rural diner.
03/17/2020 - Disabled Senior
To start I am a senior citizen, vet and disabled. We went to this restaurant with our service dog. The owner asked if he was a service dog and we said yes. (He has a harness that clearly states Service Dog). Then he asked for paperwork. This is a violation of the ADA as no request for certification is allowed to be requested. We told him that it is not required and showed him the law. He told us if we did not show it, we would have to leave. We did not call the police which we should have, but showed him the paperwork which should have ended the problems.
Then he sat us in a back corner away from all the other customers and we were alone. We were segregated because I am disabled. I then told them this is also against the Americans With Disability Law (ADA) and we were not moved.
The chicken I ordered was awful with no meat and very tough.
So I wrote them three times and told them that maybe they were just not informed and if they told me that they would not do this again to their customers, we could forget the whole bad experience.
To my surprise, they did not even answer any of my emails. This restaurant is breaking the law. They have no respect for seniors, the disabled or service dogs.
I urge you not to visit such a bad place and visit other restaurants that respect service dogs and treat their customers within the law. Bad place, bad management.

My husband and I have eaten at Sit n' Chat in Franklin several times and have found the food to be plentiful and good. We have had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings, hamburgers and roast beef. We have always been more than satisfied. The waitresses are friendly and courteous. We can't wait to try the one in Sussex, as it is actually closer to where we live.
