Best crí¨me donuts I've ever had. They ship to me no matter where I was, in NJ, NC & MI. They wrap so carefully & arrives in good form as well as fresh.

I will NEVER ORDER from this bakery. I called and ordered two lemon meringue tarts to be picked up today, the day before Thanksgiving. I told the person on the phone how I could not have and was assured that the filling was fine. They told me12:30 pickup. They had my call back info. It took my husband 45 minutes to get there and after waiting another 45 minutes he was told that they did not make them! They did not have the ingredients! Well, when he asked why they didn't call me to cancel the order they were quite rude. I am so upset because of time wasted, the and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am so disappointed because I have such a limited diet and now of course I have no dessert! NO STARS FOR THEM.

I've been going to McMillians bakery on Haddon Avenue since my mother was pregnant with me. Really. Now that I live very far away on the west coast, I order over the phone for next day shipment. What I remember since childhood, were the very tall cupcakes, cream donuts, and their cheesecake. The one memory that sticks out in my mind is above the women who worked behind the glass counter cases, used to hang gold or brass containers that contained string. So when wrapping up the donut boxes and such, the gals would just pull the wrapping string down from above and they easily tied by our goodies.

Spent $20 on 2 donuts, 2 pinwheel cookies, 1 muffin and 4 coconut iced cupcakes.
The cupcakes were so dry we threw them away, cookies were hard as rocks and the apple cider donuts tough and dry.
To add insult to injury, the two women at the counter couldn't have been much nastier, ruder or pissed off they had to work...though lucky for them the customers were helping empty their shelves.
This used to be one of the best bakeries around but it was all pretty horrible today. Should have taken my $20 and thrown it in the trash. I'll never ever go back there.

Excellent baked goods: bread, doughnuts, Danish, muffins, and fancy cakes. The best! Prices have increased dramatically over the years, so you are paying a premium for all this goodness. Employees could benefit from customer service training; some are very nice, but most are stone-faced robots who don't seem to like their jobs.

This place is AMAZING!!! It's a REAL bakery with REAL people making things from scratch! This is a 4th generation bakery so you know is has to be GREAT. I highly suggest the cream filled donuts! actually there isn't anything that bad here. There orange upside down cupcake is also dreamy if you like orange flavored foods. Seriously, this place is SO worth the trip. Just remember this is an old school bakery....once they run out of stuff they close, so better call ahead to see if they are open. And if there is something you are craving call ahead and ask them to it aside for you. This place is petty fantastic. Enjoy!!!
