I was a weekly customer of geets diner. Yesterday I went in with bday gifts and a cake for my cousin and Melissa got very nasty with me and told me I could not bring the bday cake into geets. I stood there shocked at how evil 👿 she was. I could not throw a 40 dollar cake into the trash. She forced me to leave and as I left, she snapped.that all restaurants would not allow me in. I went up the road to another diner where they welcomed us in and put the cake in the fridge and also sang Happy Birthday and cut and served the cake. I will never set foot in geets again. It is a bipolar place. One day they love you and then they put you out.

Had dinner and the tuna was delicious. Joyce was my server and she was very pleasant and the service was quick and efficient. Great personality. I will be back and recommend this establishment!

On Sunday we stopped at Geets as we always do taking my daughter back to Rowen. We were not very hungry so the girls and I ordered French onion soup plus one wanted fries and the other wanted mashed potatoes my husband ordered a pizza burger, we'll the soup came out so we figured the burger and the potatoes would follow.Wrong ,it was over 30 minutes after we finished the soup and after tables that came in after ours were served thier dinner that I asked our nasty server for the check as we were tired of waiting . She said I was just going to check on it, I told her it was too late. Then we saw her talking to another waitress and pointing at our table,then she came over and said she would like to know who was served before us,I told her I did not want to argue with her just wanted the check.The owner or manager asked us if there was a problem then took the check and said there would be no charge thank you to him but big mouth said its like a soup kitchen here . I think this heavy set woman with a pony tail and bad attitude should stay away from the public.

I had an excellent waitress named Joanne who waited on me and my family. Very pleasant and she didn't miss a beat. Thank you Jo for waiting on us, we'll be back and we'll ask for us.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion and individual experience but, I'm assuming the poster that had a terrible experience just had a bad ONE day there. A place that has been established for years WILL have bad days too once in a while.
MY experience after attending there regularly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the place. I've been there at LEAST 10 times. I order the flounder just about every time and it is BIG w/ NO bones in it. They give you SOOOOOO much food and ordering certain foods, you get soup AND salad w/ your meal. All that for, I believe, a reasonable price.
I also love the fact that since I'm a sports fan, they have a big screen TV so I can see the phillies, eagles, flyers, or sixers while eating my food.
Great atmosphere too! I'd recommend this place to anyone I like.

Had eaten at Geets before Had terrible service waited for 20 minutes or longer When we finally got our dinner mine was cold and the shrimp sauce was suppose to be butter and lemon NOT WATER My husband had odored the flounder was cold small and bones in it Also we had got our bill it was outrages Peters dinner gives you 3 times the amount and cost much less !!

This place has really good food and the sports bar and dining room make for diverse atmospheres.
