This bagel shop in NYC has it all - delicious bagels, fresh food, awesome service, and great ambiance. My go-to breakfast sandwich is the "Mikeymunch" with high-quality pastrami, egg, spinach, and olive cream cheese on a Black Russian bagel, a combination that I can't get enough of. While there's no smoothies or fresh juice, everything else is fantastic, making it a surprising gem outside of New York City.

the food is good but the wait and service sucks sometimes its so diffrent it use to be so better when the other employees used to work tgere and the old owners from brazil!and it needs an update sorry but this is what i feel horrible.

Very good food and service and nice people.
I have been going there for many years through several owners.
The only negative thing to say is years ago it was a peaceful quiet place .
I used to go there several times a week for breakfast.
Now I go only once in a while because they have the radio on or TV and sometimes both at the same time.
Its just not as pleasant as it used to be. I like having a pleasant quiet breakfast.
I don't understand why diners and other breakfast establishments feel its the "in thing" to have TVs and radios there. People have TVs and radios at home and in their car. Sometimes people like to have a break from it all especially at breakfast. I've heard more complaints about the TVs and radios than people saying they like it.

The owner of this store, is an ex-NYC fireman, and was in 911. His bagels are the best, and so is the rest of his offerings, especially his firehouse coffee.

Bagels good. Some baked goods delicious, others not so or stale. Concerned about poor condition of outside. Property a mess, fire truck badly in need of restoration. If outside appearance is telling, I worry about the kitchen!! Please clean up!!
