Yummy Taste is located in Kenvil, New Jersey. We are a family owned restaurant, opened since 2000, offering authentic chinese food at affordable prices.We deliver to Succasunna, Ledgewood, Kenvil, Landing, Mt. Arlington, Mine Hill, Wharton, parts of Dover and Randolph. Deliveries must be a minimum of $15. We also cater parties. No reservations needed. We use 100% vegetable oil. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible
Ordered gen cao chicken. It was so hard and tasteless I had trouble cutting it and separating the pieces with a knife. Don't even know if it was chicken. The pork fried rice was over cooked and tasteless. Will never ever go back. They should be investigated and shut down. Their reviews are horrible. I should have read them before I ordered. Do NoT eat that food.

Went for take-out last night at this chinese restaurant. It's been a little while since I was there, but after last night, it will be much longer or never again to go there. The food had a terrible smell to it. My chicken broccoli used to be very good but this time, the "chicken" didn't look or cut like it should. It was very tough and stringy and the broccoli was very, very tough. I think they just put it in the water and took it out. All the food had like a fishy smell to it. As soon as I walked in the door, you can tell that it actually stunk. Other items I bought also was not up to par. Guess I wasted my money this time.

I think this restaurant is under new ownership.The fellow who used to wait on tables retired and went back to his home country. The young women is no longer there also. They used to have delicious food and now I don't care for it.

In town for visit and stopped in for dinner. Wow was the food great!! And the staff went out of their way to make my family feel welcome. It was snowing outside and we didn’t feel rushed – even striking up conversations with several regular guests who raved about the food. They are definitely doing something right and we will stop there again next time we're in the area.

My son has celiac disease so we have to be very careful with restaurant take out. Yummy Taste is extremely accommodating and prepares a delicious rice noodle dish without soy - same with chicken/broccoli in white sauce and fried rice without soy. We appreciate their willingness to prepare their food to suit their customers.

Food is great, service is great and the family that runs it is nice. Waiter has great sense of humor.

My daughter is allergic to shrimp, scallops and cashews and they are very accommodating. They cook her food separately.

Also, they deliver around 30 minutes in Roxbury.

They seem to really appreciate their customers!

Not the best in the whole world, but certainly the best in the western Morris county area! Chef-owned and family run, this little jewel provides good food at a good value. Yummy Taste is usually jumping, but that sparkle improves the so-so decor and atmosphere. Free delivery makes it even more appealing for convenience sake, but occasionally you should eat there because it simply tastes the best when it is fresh out of the pan! Enjoy!!

Here's the bottom-line: Best pork dumplings and pork fried rice anywhere, hands down. My friends and I also tried their Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Garlic Beef and were all very impressed. It is ridiculously busy but how could it not be with great food. The waiting staff is the best! I would recommend coming here for a great lunch or dinner as your meals are whisked out fairly quickly. The food is great, fairly inexpensive! As for the review given before me by the customer named "JP" complaining about everything under the sun, people like this aren't happy unless they are un-happy. The world would be a better place if people like this wouldn't even show up for life!

I won't say it's the #1, but definitely the best around here. Their food is always fresh and tasty. Served with good size portion. The service is quick unless they are very busy which is totally understandable, it happens anywhere.

I've been in restaurant business for 30yrs, yummy taste is definitely my FIRST CHOICE for chinese food, fresh, big portion, and great price. We've been going there since I found this place at 2002, and I recommand to all my friends in this area. A lot of times, I pump into local restaurant owners and doctors there. It obviously does worth its name.

Their food used to be good and plentiful, now the portions are tiny(easily halved), and the service is the absolute worst I've EVER seen. We didn't get water, he didn't even offer, I had to get up and ask the lady at the register for some and it still took about 10 minutes. We ordered 2 plates of Pepper Beef, 1 general tsos and 1 sesame chicken, the Sesame chicken never showed, even though the waiter kept saying it was on the way. Then nearly an hour later, everyone was done eating, we still hadn't seen the Sesame chicken, so we said we'll take it togo and of course we want it comped. The waiter said no, so I asked to speak to a manager, the waiter made a huge scene and went to the back where a lot of loud yelling started. Then he came out and said the food is ready, I can have it and pay for it, or not have it at all, and that there is no manager. The lady comes over and tries to tell us that some plates take longer to cook. We paid, and they lost us as a customer. It must be new management, because I've never been treated so horribly. It wasn't busy, btw, one other table when we walked in.
