My friend suggested this cute diner for breakfast, and we were quickly seated by a friendly waitress who brought our drinks right away. The orange juice was refreshing, the eggs were delicious, and the pancakes were just okay, but I'd definitely come back to try their lunch menu - it's a cozy spot with good food and service. The Eggs Benedict were a hit two days in a row, the staff was accommodating with menu changes, and the overall feel of the Whippany Diner is welcoming and homey - definitely worth a return visit.

I have been going to Whippany diner for years. I decided to read the reviews and see what was true . I usually order a sandwich and this place is great for hamburgers . The hamburger was very good. I had server Bea who is always very nice and friendly . I read some complaints in the past of people coming alone and not being allowed to sit at big booth. It is true. I like sitting in big booth and feel the booths for one are for very skinny people not overweight people . The restaurant should allow anyone alone or with others to sit where they want. It is only fair . The restaurant should have more tables by the window for people that are alone and need to feel space by a window. I recommend only getting a hamburger at this place . I have tried salads , eggs and other stuff. It is hamburger place . Hope this helps you and try a hamburger!
