I have been dining at the Barge for over 40 years. In the past two I have had three incidents involving their coupons in which the coupons were misleading or misrepresented. It would behoove them to have a lawyer review the text of their coupons before printing them. Strangely the misleading favors them.
Further, I have found the seafood does not taste as fresh and the service less than adequate. The last time I was there the steamers were mushy and tasted on the border of decomposition and the soft shell crabs seemed to have been frozen. Condiments such as tartar sauce, lemon, and cocktails sauce had to be asked for.
All I can say is farewell to a once fine restaurant.
