This little sandwich haven is where I go to satisfy my cravings for the best Italian subs around! The fresh ingredients and generous portions never fail to impress, and I love how they get my order just right every time-no onions for me, thank you! Whether it's a quick lunch or a feast for a picnic, I'm always ready to dive into their delicious subs, and the friendly staff makes each visit a joy.

Best subs in this part of NJ!!! And when I say this part of NJ, I mean D.A makes the best damn sub from Atlantic City, to NYC!!!
I get a little annoyed sometimes with the cash only policy, but honestly, do you really blame them with today's out of control inflation and price hikes??? It's annoying but understandable. Just thank prez J.B

Have been going here for a long time and they have the best subs in the area. They never skimp on the meat and the bread is fresh. You might have to wait for service at times but that is only due to them being really busy because people know how good these hero's are.

This is the best sub shop in this area. When we moved here 3 yrs ago we tried every one we could find within a reasonable distance from Morganville. Yes, I understand that at certain times of the day, being a sub shop, they will be extremely busy. Only the best places are, but you get in line and place your order cause you know your getting a fantastic sub. I don't mind waiting a few mins for the best. I've also gone on off peak hours and have found the workers amiable, helpful and very quick. Also, to save time you may call the shop and place your order for pick up and it will be ready when you walk in the door. The person that wrote that one star review should bring her own lunch, it's peak hours in a sub shop not dinner in a five star restaurant. I have a feeling your not easily satisfied. For me it's about the food and when it's this good I'm in. Thanks DA Subs, you're the best.

I have been going to DA subs for at least 2 dozen years. The sandwiches are awesome. The bread is fresh, the deli meats and cheeses top notch and the veggies fresh and plentiful. I have tried Jersey Mike's and at one time thought they were a close match to DA. Not anymore. They've cheaped out on meat and the sandwiches are shorter and really skimpy on meat. I've been to Subway once or twice and they are terrible.
I've called my order in so many times and for multiple sandwiches with all sorts of special changes. I've never had an order gone wrong. The staff is always friendly (and always super busy) and no one has ever been nasty or abrupt with me.
When I am hankering for a sub sandwich this is the only place I will go.

So I went to this place for lunch yesterday because I did not feel like driving on 34. The first time I ever went I received horrible service, I walked in and no one acknowledge me for 10 min because it was busy. I work in customer service and I don't care how busy you are, at least tell me you'll be with me when you can. So the nerve of me to go back yesterday and I still received horrible service. First I called to place an order and in the middle of my order the girl hung up the phone as if I was done ordering. So by that point I had a feeling my order was incorrect. Sure enough I got my sandwich and it was completely wrong. I asked for no tomatoes, and pickle on the side. Instead I got a load of tomatoes and sliced pickles in the sandwich. Like WTF why would I eat a tuna fish sandwich with all that crap on it, so my sandwich came out soggy as hell. On TOP of that I am extremely ALLERGIC TO TOMATOES, so I had to throw my sandwich out. When I called and told them the sandwich was wrong the girl said well I didn't take the order, the girl who did left at 2pm, how unprofessional can you be, trying to cover herself, but my order was still incorrect so I didn't care who answered the phone. She did offer to make me a new one, but by this point my lunch was over and I was already pissed. So I wont be going there EVER EVER again if this was the only food place on left 34, I rather starve!!!! Im bringing lunch from now on!!!!
