I've been a regular at Crockett's for quite a while now. Their fried fish is hands down the best I've ever had - crispy and light, truly unbeatable! Along with the fish, I also enjoy their fried shrimp dinner. The sides like greens and mac & cheese are good, but it's the fish that steals the show every time!

Great Fish Resturante!
Crockette's has been in business for years!
I love all the different choices on their menu.
The food is really delicious!!
They are friendly and efficient. The wait time for an order placed is very little.

The sides are horrible non seasoning macaroni tastes like box's Mac collard green non seasoning and yams was ok.. fish was to greasy.. I rate this place a 3 stars"¦

I have patronized this spot for about 5 years now. It never gets old! I love the food. My personal favorite dinner combo is whiting w/potato salad & greens. Over and over again, I'm never disappointed. It is not their fault for not getting 5 stars from me.... I simply don't live close enough! Otherwise, I'd rate 6 stars! #GetYouSomeCrocketts

Crocketts steak fries taste and smell like they're saturated in old grease, I swear. The fish was dry and old tasting. I had someone w me as a first timer eating Crocketts food. My visitors exact words were "don't go back there". Along w the writings and fries I ordered the hush puppies. The cook had the audacity to wrap up some old burnt on the bottom hush puppies, not fresh at all. So I pointed out the the burnt spots on the pups to the owner. you'd think the female owner/partner would've said give her a fresh order when I pointed out the problem. Nope, she was like no they're not burnt with a straight face y'all. Anyone can plainly see black spots on them, WT! If she allowed that and looked me square in the face and said they weren't burnt. only GOD know what she's allowing back there. If I were fool enough to accept trash to eat she was very willing to sell trash to eat. I was surprised and disappointed when the owner pretended not to see the problem. It's a food business and she (the owner/partner) chose to avoid accountability for her cook and offer a fresh order. How greedy can one be?
Her business etiquette and ethics are poor.

Fresh and best fried fish in the area. I have patronize them for years. I live in Hudson County now, and make the 1/2 drive to Montclair when I want a good fish sandwich. The sides are big, the collard greens are down home lip smacking good. And the tasty crunch of the fish remind me of those FishFry nights in the Caribbean. Umm good!

Awesome fish (their catfish is my personal fave) and potato salad (5 stars for each), collards are unseasoned, but become very good with the addition of their hot sauce. I'm not a dessert person, but a friend of mine is and she raves about the sweet potato pie. I haven't found anything on the menu that is salty or over-seasoned, and their prices are VERY reasonable. Only "downside" item is that if you expect to walk in and place a takeout order on a Friday at 6pm, you can also expect to wait an hour for it. ;-)
