Unfortunately, there is now only one Jewish deli left in Newark, and that's Hobby's. My grandfather used to frequent Bragman's in the 60s for his lunch. Open since 1933, this deli has maintained its Jewish-style tradition and continues to impress with its pastrami and rye sandwiches. Located in a somewhat sketchy part of Newark, it adds a unique charm to the dining experience.

Are you kidding me. I've been eating here for over ten years and have never had a bad experience. I moved out of newark years ago and still return every so often for a Bragman's sandwich. As a matter of fact after skimming the web this is the only bad review for Bragman's I've seen. I'm sorry your experience was not a good one but you seem to be in the minority on this one.
