Ice cream is amazing! A couple nice kids behind the counter. We go for the portions and the flavors!! Almost visit every night while we stay in LBI for the summer. We have been going for years now! It becomes VERY crowded around 8pm, but the lines move very quickly. The people behind the counter move fast! A must do!

We go to the Big Dipper every single year (often several times) during our LBI vacation. I simply can't recommend it highly enough. The workers are nice, the owner is upbeat and friendly, and the servings are ridiculously generous. The ice cream is truly delicious and they have a nice selection of cones, too.

What an amazing place. Service was excellent! The people behind the counter are great. Had every flavor you could think of. I purchase the best ice cream cakes from here all the time. The young man (i believe he is the owner) always gets it right and my family loves them. It is quite busy every night so best to get there early.
