This Italian spot is one of my favorites, with fresh and amazing food every time I go. The BYOB option is a huge bonus, and I've loved everything from the stuffed artichoke to the beef braciola special. The service is always on point, and despite the parking being a bit tricky, it's totally worth the trip.

The food was indeed excellent, but was not aware they did not accept credit cards...a bit embarrassing as I was taking a client for dinner. I never carry cash and use a credit card for everything. The waitress told me I could use their ATM machine but I do not have a debit card. What if my client did not have cash, how would that have been handled? As a matter of fact the table next to us must have had 15 people.....who carries that much cash.....cannot understand why they do not take credit cards. That truly disappointed me as I will not be going back due to that reason, not the food.

Went to La Sicilia's several times with friends & we all enjoyed our meals. My favorite is their tripe. They have a dining room, which is lovely. The prices are very fair & you can bring your own bottle which I like. If you try this restaurant, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Food is off the hook best italian food i ever ate. place is always super busy atleast when im there. i grew up in Belleville so im always ordering food. my only wish is that they start accepting credit cards i mean anything you order can cost up to $5 more if you dont bring cash by using the ATM. i always use my credit cards for everything and its sad that alot of times im dying to eat there but i wont just because i dont carry cash on me. I mean it is 2014 i dont understand why they dont accept credit cards.

Excellent. Zero atmosphere, but if you really know what good Italian food is, this is the place. Prices?? Dirt cheap. For example, just tonight 2/13/10 2 apps, 2 dinners, 2 desserts and coffee, $53. How can you beat that? And Leonard Marshall was there.

Excellent, by far the best little restaurant anywhere. What it lacks in ambiance it is made up with great food at great prices. Giusepp, formerly of Casa Dante knows good Italian food, Period.

If you want great food at a great price, go to La Sicilia. We frequent Lu Nello's, Bella Italia, Bucco's, and the food here is JUST AS GOOD. The building itself does not compare, but the food is just as good and the prices are less than half those other places. No credit cards accepted, that tells you something, The Belmont is the only other place anywhere that doesn't take credit cards, you have to be real good not to take credit cards these days.
