I used to shoot pool and woof garlic bread many moons ago. Have been back a few times over the past months and their meals have been really good. Make sure to get the rabe. And if you are a sucker for time travel places that havent changed their decor in a loonngg time, this is it. And another plus is the waitresses will chat it up as if they know you. Atmosphere is 5 stars

I grew up in that neighborhood and have been going to Patsy's all of my life. Most of the other reviewers commented on the pizza, to me the pizza is ok but nothing special. It is however unique so you are either going to really like it a lot, or not. I would give the pizza 2 and a half stars, not my favorite but not bad. However I gave the restaurant 4 stars because when I go there and get a meal (not pizza, although my sister-in-law loves it so we get a pie to go and bring it to her whenever we go there) I have never had a bad meal there. It is nothing fancy, just basic old fashioned Italian food, but it is very good. Overall, it is one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Very nice nieghborhood restaurant&bar.The food is always very good! The PIZZA is the best!!! Theyve been doing thin crust long before it was in.I have never had an average meal here,always very good to the BEST!!! Ive been coming to Patsys since 1961 and still love it.My father,whom did not like going out for dinner because of the crap you would get,plus there were 6 kids to feed and control.But he would gladly take us all to Patsys.And for those of you who are afraid of Paterson some nights it turns into the Paterson Police northeast precinct.Safe,Family child friendly and great food wallet friendly. I got hungry thinking about there food,I'm off for a Hot Pepper Pizza!!!!
