This is the continuation of the review before this. I ordered the ginger chicken and its portions were large with a lot of chicken, although next time I will get General Tso's chicken.

Best food ever. If you want to be treated with respect and politeness this is the place to go.
Never a bad meal ever.I have lived in Ridgewood for 20 plus years. What a great environment to be in.

I've been going to the Bamboo House for 22 yrs. and have, never, had a bad meal. The food is the best Chinese food available, anywhere. Service is, always, top notch.

Bamboo House is a, small, family restaurant. By that I mean, you are treated like family. We, usually, have more food than we can eat and take home, enough for another meal. I, highly, recommend eating here.

I have been coming here for several years and have always enjoyed the food and portions served here. This tiny eatery has always finished in the Bergen Record's Top 5 for best Chinese food, ahead of most other fancier well known locations. The food here is always fresh and tasty, and the dinner specials created by the owner are especially good. I am treated like family when I dine here.

The food is terrific, fresh ingredients and large portions. Definition of a true hole in the wall restaurant. It should be located somewhere in the village in ny, but luckily its in ridgewood. You don't go there for the motif, you go there because their food is so good. This is as authentic Chinese food as you will get, so adjust your taste buds, because there is great deal of nonsense out there in nj. The owner is always there and assures you have the best food and experiences. BTW all of their food is done in shoppe, no pre packaged or prepared egg rolls, dumplings or anything of that kind. This place is magnificent!

I ordered chicken wings and crab. There wasn't much meat in either of them. The management appeared to be drunk and did not provide good service. Do not recommend.
