If you haven't yet experienced Grasshopper Also established in 1994, you have a great deal to look forward to. In the most stylish tradition of the old Irish pub, the interior is filled with mahogany, polished brass, and a profusion of Tiffany-style lamps. The green and burgundy decor makes the right complement to the beautifully shined wood, including the long mahogany bar.

Round tables are situated throughout so patrons may enjoy a great pint of Guinness and eat one of the hearty specials while watching sporting events on the numerous TVs and huge screen TV, all via satellite. For the sportsman, all G.A.A. championship games and English and Irish soccer matches may be seen via satellite.

Grasshopper Also serves an extensive list of affordable lunch and dinner specials that changes every day - from a tempting array of appetizers to a well-rounded selection of entrees - all freshly prepared by the superb chef and his staff.
The entrees, from meat to seafood, cost between $8.95 and $21.95. All entrees are fresh and scrumptious and are served with salad, potato, vegetable du jour and delicious Irish soda bread - a Grasshopper trademark.

Grasshopper Also has a variety of entertainment throughout the week. A DJ Thursdays through Saturdays. On Sunday, there is live Irish entertainment from 5 to 9 p.m. Grasshopper Also Bar and Restaurant is located at 645 Washington Avenue, on Route 503 North in Carlstadt, one mile from the Meadowlands Arena.
