03/11/2011 - Brandy
My friend and I decided to try Pourquoi Pas for the second time. We were not too impressed the first time, but thought maybe we'd give it another try. While my friend thought his dinner (Pork Osso Bucco) was "fine", I thought mine was terrible. I had the Scallop and shrimp au graten. The shrimp were tiny and I think they were canned. They smelled very fishy. The scallops...if you want to call them that, were texture less and tiny, about the size of a pencil eraser. It came steaming hot and over-cooked in a little crock with baby carrots, mostly spinach, and some asparagus thrown in there. The best part about the dinner was the rolls and the goat cheese tart. We both found the dinners overpriced and under standard. We won't be going there again.
