Great Place and Atmosphere!! The food is delicious, I highly recommend trying the soup, you will not be dissatisfied. Everything I have tried so far has been superb! Great Chef! Very welcoming and all around nice people. Check it out if you haven't!

We went on a Saturday night, which we know can be very busy considering it's the weekend. We sat at the bar and the bartender Allie I believe was her name served us our first drinks (which was seriously our first and last drinks) at the end of the bar and then that was it of her for the rest of the night. She then decided to just stand behind the bar and talk to other customers that she must know from going into the Hyde-Away or they are just good friends with her "¦ we do not know. More of our review is that she never came back to us and we felt as if she was singling us out.
The more we sat at the bar waiting for our food to come out (which was very delicious and the only great experience of this place honestly) we realized that she was just chatting way too much and not being very attentive to her customers. We noticed she would rather chat with people instead of doing her job. We are not saying that she can not do it but it definitely looked like she can not handle her job as bartending especially when it's very busy. She would rather chat the time away until her shift is over than be attentive to her customers.
The best is during the whole time we were there and getting treated like this the owner was sitting at the bar to our left and was also chatting with her. We could not believe this when our friends told us that this happens all the time when they go in, if we did not witness this ourselves I would not believe it!!!
Our perspective we do not know how the owners themselves let alone their employees can do this to customers. Possibly some training and business experience should be given and definitely taken!!!
Our friends that told us about the Hyde-Away go very frequently and also informed us that is was normally 2 bartenders there but when this girl Allie came aboard the bar started to go down hill and get trashy, along with her (Allie) appearance behind the bar. The place has a nice atmosphere considering some of the experiences we witnessed but in order to keep that nice atmosphere you have to have nice, professional, EXPERIENCED, and CLASSY employees in order to run and keep a business!!!
We also noticed a few times of going into the place while finishing up our drinks and food before they close for the night, some of the employees will sit at bar to unwind from their night. While some of the employees are sitting at the bar the bartender (Allie) seemed to be very close with a few of her employees. One of them that she seemed to be very close with was I believe is the chef considering he had black chef pants. The energy that she made when he was sitting at the bar we believe that the bartender's (Allie) problem could be that she's looking for a relationship there with an employee instead of working to do her job. She seemed to be very close with the chef as if they are dating. What puzzled us was that the owner is right there and has to see this going on and does not say anything to her employees is just down right ridiculous and unbelievable. You own and run a family restaurant not a dating club!!!
Hopefully they will see this review and clean up all the mess they got going on in this place and go to being a nice, ELEGANT, FAMILY restaurant which we believed it was when our friends told us all about this place.
