Our visit to Dune 18 was very, very nice. The food was pretty much excellent, however some could’ve been warmer. The waiters and waitresses were really friendly and helpful. Small, cute, classy place. The only drawback would have to be the Hostess/Owner, who was extremely selective with who she extended her friendliness to, totally ignoring the newbies in the room….us…. Don’t let that stop you, it’s worth it….hopefully she’ll be more cordial on the day you go….

Never got past the nasty hostess to even try the restaurant. We called days in advance for a reservation and no one answered their phone so we left two messages for a reservation. No return call so we went down their and although our name was in the hostess book she claimed she left us a message which we never received . She spent 5 minutes trying to defend her position in a nasty confrontational manner that it was obvious she forgot to return our call. With an attitude like that I would rather spend my money at the number of other restaurants on the island that are proven to be good with pleasant staff. They should hire a profession well mannered hostess. She is not a good front line greeter for their business.
