Great service,ambiance,food,presentation. We were wowed. The display of steaks and a whole shell did not fit, and was very out of place.

The hostess was condescending and insulting (she really was truly horrible), and sat us in the bar, despite the fact that we had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and had specified that this was for a birthday dinner. The beet salad was disgusting. My sister ordered a special asparagus appetizer and said it was inedible. My buccatini tomato basil was good, and my sister said the rigatoni vodka was good, but my mom's boyfriend said the veal Milanese was disappointing. What a terrible experience. I never write reviews and I eat out at area restaurants all the time. We should have gone to Basil Ts in Red Bank. So much for trying a new place.
