Quaint atmosphere off the beaten path. Food OK. Pricing is questionable, as prices for items and sides are not clearly listed on menu or posted anywhere. Ended up with an 80 bill for two people whose order was cheese enchiladas, beef tacos, with beans and rice, side of jalapenos, side of sour cream, and two soft drinks. Turns out beans, rice, jalapenos, sour cream, etc. are all considered side items and do not come with the entrees. They are seperate charges, which was not clearly listed on the menu. I know things are more expensive now, but $80 for "taco bell" tasting mexican food? I also realize Ruidoso is a tourist town, so items are more expensive, but $80 and not clearly listing prices? Owner/manager was very defensive and her excuse was "I can't get no help". I understand good workers are hard to find and keep around, but what does that have to do with not clearly marking prices? If you go, ask about prices before placing your order so you are fully informed.
