I recently visited Voleo's in Westwego and was blown away by the seafood platter. The quality of the food was excellent-every bite felt like a reminder of why I've always loved this place. The flavors were fresh, bold, and everything you could want from a seafood experience in Louisiana.
Voleo's has a special place in my heart. I used to frequent their original location in Lafitte, which, sadly, was destroyed by Hurricane Ida. I have so many cherished memories from there, and stepping into the Westwego spot felt like reconnecting with an old friend. The warm, familiar atmosphere makes it clear that they've carried forward the same love and passion for their food. It was like a slice of home.
If you're looking for a spot that combines exceptional food with a sense of community and tradition, Voleo's is where you want to be.

The restaurant has a welcoming and efficient staff, making for a pleasant dining experience. Although it may not be easily noticeable, the quality of the food will leave a lasting impression. The seafood dishes, such as the shrimp and fries platter and the Pasta Diane, are particularly outstanding with generous portions and delicious flavors.
