The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the service from Dallas, our waitress, was exceptional. Despite its unassuming exterior, the atmosphere inside was cozy and welcoming. My favorite dish was the roast beef sandwich, and I especially appreciated being able to get the gravy on the side - a rare find in other places.

Ordered take-out last night...Hamburger steak, onion rings, catfish platter. I have NO idea what was in the hamburger steak [my wife said it tasted like liver was mixed in] but it wasn't hamburger! The catfish platter was chunks of catfish nuggets...no filets. The onion rings were nothing but thick doughy batter with very little onion inside. Oh....and the price at the restaurant was wayyyy higher than the online menu. This place is NOTHING like it used to be. The food was so bad that we threw it out and raided our own fridge.

I called and told the lady my club sandwich was moist ! They put a white paper on top of my club ! The bread was supposed to be toasted and stay that way it wasn't ! I called them back and she had a attitude on phone! My son went to go get the take out food no way it should taste soft never again I will order from there !

I am 68 yrs old and been eating at schnells since I was a teenager.As far as I was concerned there was no better place.But believe me it sure has changed.Thursday I got a softshell crab platter to go and when I got home and opened it I could not believe my eyes,the crabs was so small you couldn't even taste the crab and the price was outrageouis.I will never go back.Aparantly who ever owns it or runs it does not have a clue how to run a resturant It was a horrible experience concidering how it used to be....I do not recomend it..

What a horrible shame it has been to watch this place go down the sewer over the past few years. When the owners used to work there it was FANTASTIC! The past few years it has gotten worse and worse as far as cleanliness, food quality, and service. I took my new girlfriend to eat there for the first time. I was hopeful when she ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I thought to myself they probably will be able to handle that. Sadly I was wrong. Now days it's a VERY unclean place. Food quality is HORRIBLE and the service is the worst part of the whole dying establishment. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Go somewhere, ANYWHERE but here !!!!!
