I heard about this unique spot a few years ago and eagerly anticipated my visit when I had the chance to explore NOLA. The restaurant, located on a converted Coast Guard barge, offers an inviting atmosphere and delicious dishes like perfectly cooked shrimp and flavorful gumbo. The friendly staff, including a wonderful hostess who makes you feel like family, adds to the experience, making it well worth the drive from New Orleans.

We stumbled upon this place while out for a drive and we were happy we did. Great food, the seafood was very fresh and tasty.The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning. There is also a great outdoor balcony looking over the bayou, what more can u ask for, It's an awesome place.

A group of ladies celebrating birthdays were given wonderfully special treatment and hospitality. Food was delicious. We were made to feel at home!

Great portions, great tasting seafood, lots to choose from. Great hard to find large onion rings. The gumbo a must to was very good. This is a must try hidden secret on the bayo. Will come back again soon

We went to Bouttes bayou restaurant today for lunch. The food we got was good. The service was not great. We were asked what kind of salad dressing we wanted but never got our salad. I was never asked if I wanted a refill of my beverage. Our soup came with no spoons we had to wait while for waitress to go get us spoons. Never asked us if we wanted desert. Never asked if we needed a box for what we had not eaten. Brought us the bill before we finished eating. Not happy with the new service with the new ownership. Really miss the great service we used to get under the previous owner.
