Charlie's Restaurant & Catering, located 20 minutes from New Orleans, may not impress from the outside, but the extensive menu offers a variety of delicious options for everyone. From seafood dishes to award-winning gumbo and hearty comfort food plates like Mama's Rump Roast, there is something to satisfy every craving. Despite the unassuming decor, the friendly service and generous portion sizes make it a worthwhile dining experience for locals and visitors alike.

Had a bad experience myself.
Dinner come with 1 side and a vegetable or salad.
There vegetables are listed in the same list as the sides are.
So I ordered the broccoli and butter.
When I got my bill, I was charged for the broccoli.
Little over 9 dollars for 2 small bowels.
I asked why and I was told the broccoli is a upcharge.
I was not told this when I ordered it as a vegetable that comes with the meal.
It does not say anywhere on the menu that the broccoli is a specialty item and not part of the meal.
I think what realy got me upset was when the waitress told the manager that he better go call Chad cause she is not going to sit there all night over F-CK-NG BROCCOLI.
I've eaten there for a long time. But between the not being told of the upcharge, and not being listed as such and the waitresses attitude, I won't be back.
A restaurant is supposed to be about customer satisfaction.
Chad tried to justify it by saying the system is all programed and set.
When the waitress said Chad and or Tracy are the only 2 with the code to change the a charge.

Ordered chicken parm only to have the chicken
Burned to black on one side😮 You would think
the kitchen would Not send BURNT CHICKEN to a CUSTOMER"¦"¦and When I stated to bring this back to kitchen waitress asked what is wrong, guess she has been trained not to look 👀"¦.Chad are you that cheap now days
TRAIN YOUR STAFF, FROM COOK TO WAIT STAFF"¦FOR THE PRICES YOU CHARGE CUSTOMERS EXPECT PROPERLY COOKED

The food was excellent, The prices were reasonable. The waitress (Hailey) did a great job. She showed what was called "Customer Focus" in my days as a Restaurant Manager. We will surely return often.
