Growing up in NYC, I always had a love for Chinatown's culinary offerings. When a local friend suggested we try out Hong Minh in nearby Harvey, I was initially skeptical about suburban Chinese cuisine, but was pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes served in the unassuming strip mall setting. The BBQ pork, roasted duck, salt & pepper string beans, and Singapore mei fun were standout items that rivaled some of the best Chinese food I've ever had.
