We are relatively local, and this is our favorite place for mostly dinners and occasional lunches, and it has been for years. Never been disappointed with anything, and we're always treated like family. Being 'empty nest-ers' with family all at a distance, we even come here for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, which are always wonderfully special. We AND our friends would recommend Huckleberry Cafe to anyone without hesitation, and their smoked meats are an extraordinary specialty, not to be missed.

Stopped in for lunch with my husband. The waitress seated us at our table and never came back till I went to the counter and asked if someone was going to wait on us. She looked dumbfounded and asked who seated us . I said "you did " . It wasn't busy so it's not like we were lost in the crowd. I asked for broiled haddock and she said they don't "boil fish ". I know the locals rave about this place , but I know I won't be back
