Good food and prices

On Saturday, August 2nd, my wife,
Grandson and I stopped at Aunt Millie's for the very first time. After seeing the baked goods and then reading the menu, we got excited thinking we had found our new favorite family style restaurant. We were WRONG! My wife ordered the meatloaf. After cutting one slice of it a good sized black bug came out of a burrow"¦still alive"¦from inside the meatloaf. It was and remains DISGUSTING! I reached out to the owners but have had no response. I have to give Aunt Millie's a ZERO rating.

The very best home cooked food ever. They never skimp on the portions .The desserts are out of this world delicious. Super size everything always in the dessert caseðŸ˜. Friendly helpful staff.

Aunt Millie's is my favorite restaurant in my area. I had their delicious spaghetti there yesterday and the service was fast and friendly but I never felt rushed. I love Aunt Millie's!

We eat at Aunt Millie's quite often and have been very pleased. Last night was the worst meal we have ever had. & in our party, 3 ordered Prime Rib it was great. One ordered chicken also good. Unfortunately 3 of us ordered their Cajun Shrimp. There is nothing Cajun about this. Steer away from it. None of us could stomach it. But by the time the waitress got back to our table almost everyone was finished with their dinner. The waitress apologized (not her fault) and offered to exchange it for something else but it was too late. She said she would get the manager. When the manager came over she said that is the way they always made the dish. It was nothing but deep fried shrimp in Red Hot. She said she would take off the price of the meal but charge us for the salad and baked potato because we ate it. The salad comes before the meal so how were we to know the meal would be lousy. She charged us the full price for a salad and a side baked potato but would not charge for the corn (salads with the dinner are much smaller but she didn't care). The total for those two items was only $2.00 less then the price of the meal. WHAT! After about 10 minutes of pleading our case she finally relented and did not charge us. We will all have to think twice abouat going back there again.

I always love the food here, but we had just eaten here Sunday, 8/23, and I ordered the chicken stir fry that I always do. It was so salty, I could not eat it. I took it home for the next day, and ended up discarding it. I was disappointed, as everyone enjoyed their meals but me. I am afraid to purchase it again. Did the meal change and have more salt added? I wont find out because I wont order it again.
