This family-owned restaurant offers exceptional service and delicious food, especially the fish fries, which are truly the best I've ever had. With friendly staff, a casual atmosphere, and affordable prices, you can't go wrong by stopping here for breakfast or trying their amazing loaded mac and cheese.

In reference to charging for a glass of water, they buy their water in 5 gallon bottles so naturally they charge for it. I noticed Ai says it is in West Edmeston, that might be their mailing address but they are located in Brookfield. Our very large family has eaten there for many years, it just does not get any better!

Excellent home cooking! Friendly, wonderful family run it! Momma makes killer pies! Peach shortcake in season! Fish fries on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Grass fed beef! Cozy and comfortable! Our favorite place!

I went to the Brookfield community g'sale and had lunch in the local, and only, restaurant, The Beaver Den. When I received my bill, I noticed that I had been charged a $1 for a glass, not a bottle, of water and asked if it had been a mistake - it wasn't! I mentioned it to the owner on my way out and was told that the charge was correct (and that was that). I have never been charged for water and will NEVER go back.
