GOOD FOOD FRIENDLY SERVICE

The food was good but the service was absolutely atrocious. I’m a waitress and a bartender so I give servers a lot of slack because I know how stressful it can be but this was just over the line. There were two of us, me and my boyfriend we were out for our anniversary. We started out by asking the waiter what non alcoholic beverages they had because the menus we were given only had wines on it and I’m not old enough to drink, he told us they ‘don’t have any of those’ so I said we’ll have waters. But the table next to us had ice teas and lemonades so when he came back I asked for a pink lemonade which he brought to me which was weird because he said they didn’t have any non alcoholic beverages, but we kind of ignored it. We got two steaks and a chicken Caesar salad, pretty simple right? I guess not because it took 45 minutes for the salad to come out and an hour and a half for our steaks, no I’m not kidding. We ate and when I asked to see a manager I was told there “wasn’t one on Monday’s†so we paid and left. We later came back to get a piece of cake I heard one of the other servers talking about because it sounded good. I went in and picked it up and asked the bartender if there would be a manager on the next day that I could call, she then told me that there was a manager on shift today and I could talk to him if I like (so we were blatantly lied to). So the manager came out and I told him that the food was good but the service really ruined our meal, I also explained that I’m a waitress so I know how stressful it can be but an hour and a half for two steaks and 45 minutes for a salad was a little ridiculous, and this is the part that really got me, he looked me in the face and told me “what do you want me to do about it†and then proceeded to explain how their restaurant is “going through a sh-t time right now†(so he cursed to me, which you should NEVER do do a customer, especially one who’s being extremely kind and understanding, keep in mind I didn’t care about a refund I just wanted them to know because feedback is good) He proceeded to talk down to me as if I was stupid, asking over and over again what I expect him to do, shutting down every statement I threw at him even when I told him that I don’t expect him to do anything but accept the criticism and take the feedback. I took my cake and left getting into my car in tears because this man had just made me feel completely useless as a human being, and talked to me as if I wasn’t an adult. I am not one to write a raving review on a bad experience but this just completely ruined our night, I would not recommend this restaurant at all...
