I recently visited this place for dinner and found it to be quite relaxing. The phone booth doors at the entrance were a unique touch that I appreciated. The staff was very polite and provided an old menu, which I found charming. The garlic knots were delicious and not greasy, and the sandwich had a generous amount of meat. I am grateful for the honesty and warm service I received here.

We're in the idst of the statewide COVID-19 stay at home order & I have multiple health conditions, including treatment for breast cancer, that make me high risk. A few days ago, for the 1st time since the pandemic, I decided to take a break from cooking & order delivery from Guido's Pizza in Walden. The guy who does the delivery answered the phone. When I told him I was paying with a credit card & putting the tip on the card too (to follow social distancing) he told me the tip has to be in cash. I told him that I have put the tip on the card before, he told me to hold then got back on and said they don't deliver to my neighborhood. I told him I order delivery from them all the time. He said I'm out of their area. I've been ordering delivery from them every 2 to 3 weeks for the last 8 months and always spending $20 to $25 and I always gave a $5 tip to the delivery drucer. It's terrible that during a pandemic they would treat a customer like this. Too bad, their pizza is as good as Giuseppe's but only Guido's delivered to my neighborhood. Once the stay at home order is lifted, since I'll have to pick up, I'll get my pizza at Giuseppe's from now on.
