Love this place

I've been going here for years and never had anything but the best Italian food since I left my old neighborhood in Queens 20 years ago. The restaurant is a couple of hundred years old and it's a landmark too. The surroundings are beautiful, waitstaff is really nice and the food is always a really enjoyable experience. I've gone scores of times for lunch and dinner, and they never disappoint.

First of all, the service and staff is terrible. The owner was the nastiest B I have ever encountered.

I ordered Eggplant Rollatini. Should not be hard...you would thing. Four bites in and I was already sick from the slimy, greasy monstrosity that was this dish. The waiter NEVER came over to ask if everything was okay. I would have said no and asked for plain pasta...but NO ONE EVER bothered to check on us. When I complained to the owner, she told me that I had issues and rolled her eyes and wouldn't even look at me.

The place might be pretty, but the food is REPULSIVE. Everyone in my family ordered something different, and we are all sick from the food.

STAY AWAY!!!
