I discovered this hidden culinary gem recently and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The diner, nestled among strip malls in Kingston, NY, offers all the Greek Diner basics with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was simple yet satisfying, with my egg sandwich and hash browns hitting the spot perfectly. The friendly service and laid-back ambiance made for a memorable dining experience.

I love going there for sit down, especially for their salads, but considering everything going on with Covid-19 I decided to order for pick up. Not only did the lady taking my order over the phone sound terribly inconvenienced by my order, but she didn't give me a time estimate or a total for my order before hanging up.
Then, when I get home, I found the the mixed greens my salad is supposed to be comprised of is just a bed of romaine. After I already accepted that half of my salad would be missing because they had no fresh fruit.
I understand that times are tough on businesses and workers. I myself am essential. But it was a disapointment as a regular customer.

Have been going to this diner for years. Always good food, friendly service, in a great atmosphere. I have no idea what Anna is talking about. They have many people with alternative lifestyles who dine here all the time. There is no discrimination toward anyone at Michael's Diner. Recommend highly.

Fries came out cold after waiting 20 minutes (at a diner which was slow?!!)......waitress was heard saying,"reheat fries".......reheat??? Disgusting is how the reheated fries came out-which had gravy on them as requested initially..and reheated with the cold gravy coated fries....the floors were being swept as we ate.....I just love inhaling dust.....and then mopped on our escape from this poor excuse of a diner. When the 'hostess'/cashier was told about the poor dining experience, she could hardly care, we were actually ignored when initially arriving to the register to pay for this appalling dining experience......Will return and have friends accompany in order to ascertain whether people of alternative lifestyles are consistently treated poorly. Otherwise, would NEVER return to this dump.
