The food at this diner is simply delicious, with generous portions whether dining in or getting takeout. I appreciate the friendly service, especially on a busy Sunday morning. While the prices can be a bit steep for certain items, the overall experience of enjoying fresh, filling meals makes this diner a reliable choice in the area.

9/11/18 1pm. Lunch at American Diner Middletown ny. Food and service excellent. My wife used ladies bathroom,bathroom was very dirty,no paper towels,floor filthy,bathroom designed poorly,bad for business.while exiting front door,center hand rail loose,ready to fall over,hazard,safety violation.

Eaten there many times got something to go last night it was terrible got roast beef and roasted sirloin of beef portion were great but the beef was microwaved and like rubber as for medium rare and shoe leather I normal don't write comments but this was that bad we normally each breakfast there and it's good I just can't believed they microwaved the meat that high
