My husband and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Schodack Diner recently. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special, setting up a private area and providing excellent service. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the overall experience was exceptional.

Hot Turkey was cold. Gravy was too light. Not enough tzaziki sauce on gyro. And even when we overtipped the waitress Jennifer giving her $14 when she was hardly due the $8, she was STILL charging me for extra tzaziki sauce! Never get me nor anyone I know there again. Shame on them!

I went to the Schodack Diner on April 29th, and Kimberly was my server. I think there was two Kimberlys, but the one I had, had an amazing quote on her forearm about giving God your weakness. Kimberly was genuine from the beginning, she asked us how our day was, and was very prompt about her service, and quick. I got eggs benedict, and the portions were super generous. I have been back twice since, and I try to sit at the counter because the service at the counter is very good, quick, and they all work together as a team. Even the owners son "Panos" checked on us, him and Kimberly were joking with me because I worked out, and she insisted that her muscles were bigger then both of ours, comical even though she was joking.
The diner is very clean, and honestly if they were out of tables, I wouldn't even mind eating off of the floor. Not seriously but you get what I'm saying. I will forever reccomend my new favorite diner.
