Awful.....been going there since early 80 s. Waited 45 mins and never got served and place wasn't crowded. Waitress only response was " I don't know what is going on in the kitchen". They used to have a nice touch of some great bread and sauce as an appetizer but no longer do this. We finally walked out after 45 mins as cook hadn't cooked a taco and chic fingers when we left. Another couple was right on our tails leaving when we did. This place is not what it once was. Waitress never even apologized.

When celebrating a birthday, Mother's Day or Father's Day etc. the Village Eatery has been our "go to" and mostly without disappointment. Yesterday, Father's Day, tetered on not wanting to come back. Ordered salad with onions and it got delivered without. Ordered Kahlua and Cream and it had 90% ice and ended up Kahlua and Skim Milk within minutes. My husband ordered Spaghetti Bistro and it came less cheese cap. I ordered a salad and open faced meatball sandwich with a fruit cup. Bread on sizzling platter was burnt to the plate and had cheese on 1 meatball. Fruit cup never got delivered. Trying not to spoil the day I said nothing. My son ordered chicken parm and ate about half and he's a clean your plate guy. As a matter of fact, he didn't even want his leftovers, he sent them with us. By the way, he had very little cheese on his parm. Must have been you were near running out of that stuff. Our son and his wife live in Pendleton and so we tend to go toward their favorites but Panes or the Grapevine are looking pretty good for the next time. We dined at 5:15 pm in the last booth before the entrance to the restrooms.

Just dinner there, party of 4. I order Chicken Marsala. The chicken was in strips with pasta on top and seemed like a dark brown gravy. Unattractive presentation.Lacking flavor. My son had a cajun chicken dish. The sides of the plate were not wiped. The pieces of the chicken were inconsistent. My grandson had a bacon burger. Bacon was over cooked. Very disappointed
