After seeing many people rate this restaurant poorly, I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Despite experiencing a hiccup with the waitstaff during one visit, I've consistently enjoyed their Shrimp Basket and have had great times with friends and family while listening to live music.

With plenty of seating on the patio and a laid-back atmosphere, Maverick Pointe is a great spot to grab a bite and unwind. The menu offers a variety of burger options and refreshing beverages to choose from. Despite some past reviews, my recent experience at Maverick Pointe was positive, and I would suggest giving it a try for yourself.

I think they were short staffed that day, but it took 10 min to even be acknowledged, 30 min to get waters and our order taken, and another half hour for our two burgers to come out. They were busy and short staffed, I get that, but what was inexcusable was the attitude of the staff. Instead of being apologetic for wait, they seemed annoyed to have to work at all. Food was, at best, mediocre, and definitely not worth the wait. I can't say how typical this experience is, but it was enough to make me never return.

Read the reviews. There are enough of them telling the same story to tell this place is not worth the time, money or effort.

My son and I stopped here. Bar had 10 or so people and there were 3 people at 1 table. Waitress told us to pick a booth. She then walked to the side of the bar and never came back. Owner was making drinks for other customers while our waitress texted on her phone. Never gave us menus, never took a drink order to get us started, just stood at the side of the bar playing on her phone. After 10 10 minutes we got up and left. She looked over and never said a word. Must be used to it. WE WILL NEVER RETURN.
