It is not worth it whatsoever it has been recommended by so many people but these people have a terrible sense of taste. I got the calamari and it is terrible it is slimey and the second I swallowed it I almost picked right then and there places like dirty dicks have far better food.

My God, the food is astounding!!!! I've live up and down the east coast, and I don't think have had better seafood, ever! Service was fantastic, atmosphere is cosy, and the portions are huge! If you are in Hatteras, GO! If you are anywhere in the OBX, GO! You will not be amazed!!

Called to place a carry out order. She said "Can you hold for a minute?" and put the phone down for over 10 minutes. Not on hold bc I could hear the people talking in the background. Hung up and called back multiple times but the phone was still off the hook so kept getting the message that no voicemail was set up.

Went on Friday nite & sat at the bar. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. The one issue we had was with the "special" we odered. They didn't quote special price and when we got bill, it was more expensive ($40 each) which was higher than any item we saw in the menu. I guess we learned a special is more expensive, not less.. Maybe it doesn't mean the price is special, or if so, higher rather than lower.

Rather pricey but large portions (for the next day) and I have never been disappointed with my choices. Definitely care has been taken creating the recipes and presentation, yummy.
Everything comes to the table right after it's prepared. How many times have you had pasta too hot to dig right into! I dream about this dish: Shrimp, Scallops & Crab over Penne with Sundried Tomato Sauce. Delish!

Been visiting OuterBanks for 20 years...this is a great place....
Had the steamed oysters to start...loved the special dipping sauce. We had Fried Shrimp and Fish Dinners our Friends had the fried oysters......then had desert...chocolate moose and vanilla brulee.....yum.....
Great service all around.....will be back for the brunch menu......
I highly recommend all to visit......
For the two negative reviews........you must like that fast food drive through dinner...
Should give it another try....as this place is locally owned and people that work there are locals......

First.time out with friends and it was worth it. From the calamari, coconut shrimp and oysters

The $ sign is in correct it should be $$$ or more, The food is mediocre at best and overpriced. Diamond Shoals is much better priced and the food is genuine, Sandbar down the road is also better. Sonnys in Hatteras is also good and again better priced. Tourist trap for sure. Not sure how they will make it through the winter if locals don't eat there.

Terrible experience which we had looked forward to,
By spring you should hire a new chef
Take crabcakes off the Menu. You are not in Maryland and yours are Not
Crabcakes!!!
Food was not hot, service was OK. A beer sat on the bar unopened for10
Minutes before delivered to table .
Cheesy potatoes were cold and tastless. Get a recipe!
