As someone who grew up in Philadelphia and along the Jersey shore, I have high expectations for seafood. The broiled Mayflower platter and clam chowder I had were exceptional - the chowder had the perfect consistency, fresh clams, and a hint of spice that left a satisfying kick. Despite initially hesitating to try the hush puppies, I was pleasantly surprised by their delicious taste, resembling onion rings. The Mayflower Platter was also a standout dish with generous portions that left me asking for a takeout container. Overall, the experience was great, and I look forward to returning.

food is always good! i always get the fried 2 item combo with fried baby shrimp fried scallops and french fries. a ton of food and they also give hush puppies and slaw tarter & cocktail. which i dont normally eat but good to have. i could never eat captain ds or long john silvers. only mayflower..

I ordered the captains seafood platter and this is what I got one piece of fish, 4 scallops, 4 small oysters, 2 hushpuppies, and 23 no count shrimp. The shame of it is is you get three times the food at captain d's but I go there because of the quality of there food it's delicious but by the time I share my food with a 2 year old we're both hungry by the time we are done. My wife got the flounder and although it was a wonderful plate they didn't give her salad dressing to go with the salad she got nor did we get the butter and sour cream to go. Don't they charge for what they didn't put in the bag?
