I tried takeout for the first time tonight and was pleased with the generous portion sizes and delicious flavors. The staff was friendly, and the owner, Helen, shared her commitment to using fresh ingredients, making it a memorable dining experience.

Eat here regularly and the service and food has been great every time. Owner is always very helpful in answering any question about oriental food. Love this cafe.

Excellent! My son and I are foodies from Florida and we needed a Chinese food fix while visiting. My son is a professional cook and I grew up cooking with a Japanese mother who was also a sushi chef and loved Chinese food so we both know what quality Asian food looks and tastes like. We started with the handmade hand-rolled shrimp and vegetable egg rolls that were so packed full of goodness and fresh ingredients that I wish I had taken two dozen home with us! Crispy and sizable I thought I was back in New York and London where the Chinese food is superb. We shared a big bowl of won-ton soup that was hearty with handmade hand-folded won-tons in a delicate broth -so good! For the main course, I had the cashew chicken and my son had the pineapple chicken, both were beautifully executed and delicious but I think mine was the best, packed with hand cut chunks of white meat chicken, fresh vegetables and the perfect amount of crunchy cashews. Helen the owner is from Macau and she is a beautiful person that takes great pride in her food, she explained how they make the food from scratch and use only the freshest ingredients. This little town should really appreciate having such a nice place to eat - we would love to have a great Chinese restaurant like this where we live. Please visit her, go inside and sit, there are not many Chinese restaurants you can still have this kind of experience in. Thank you Helen for all the love and hard work you put into making this beautiful food for your community, you are a treasure!

I have ate here many times over the years. The food is always good. Lots of fresh vegetables. Is made when ordered. She gives
sauce for extra flavor. Very pleasant staff.

No place better than Helen's. !!! Love everything have ever tried. It's all good. U can keep nasty koto's. .Helen fix up up some sesame chicken like u haven't ate before. So glad it's still here. Been many a year. And nope. U will not leave hungry. Huge portion. Love it. Thank u Helen. .

the food was tasteless, swimming in an inch of sauce that made it tasteless no matter what you add! one of my children has been throwing up rice all night, and still going! do not feed this to your family unless you hate them!

We enjoy the food from here very much. We always get the same thing, Scallion Chicken, Chicken Lo-mein and Crab Rangoons. Always tastes great. Very happy with them.

The food here is great. Its as authentic as you can get around here. There is a great variety and I've never had anything off of the menu I didn't like. A lot of people have given them a bad review and say that Kotos is better? Kotos is CHEAP and the food their is dumbed down American food. The only people who eat at kotos are high schoolers with simple taste pallets. Kotos is junk. Nikki's is good but the best place in town is definitely oriental cafe.

I think Kotos paid Michael to write that...kotos is all around garbage. From the food to the fat white waitresses. All garbage. Helen does a great job and is superior to Kotos and it's not even close. Try the Orange Chicken. It's awesome

The food is so disgusting! I just got some for the first time and it really sucks!!! I want my money back! My dog wont even look at it he ran!!!! Dont eat here go to kotos up the road its so much better!!!!

Food quality is not to good. The Mongolian beef was the worst I have ate. My wife got the simple shrimp fried rice and it was just that, simple. Bland taste for both the dishes. But the cheese won-tons was de-lish!

We have been eating at this restaurant for many year
and have enjoyed every meal we had. Helen and the boys have become good friends or ours and make us feel at home every time we eat there.

My wife and I are planning a trip this weekend and I wanted to look up the phone number, that's how I found this. We have dined a couple of times while in Taylorsville. The food is very good quality, and cooked to perfection. The service is fantastic, the owner Helen and her two sons gave us excellent service and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. I'll be calling in a to go order this Friday on my way over to Sugarloaf. Try it, you want regret it!
