Definitely no experience at all. After researching enjoyable places to visit for my wife's 69th birthday we chose to travel here from Weaverville being about an hour and a half drive. Through the website we found on Thursday, March 3rd was hamburgers and hotdogs featured for lunch, being my wife and I just wanted a hamburger (her occasional favorite) and spend some time there just enjoying the day. After a gorgeous day and beautiful drive getting there, we found everything closed. The best part of the trip and kind of a joke was the sign on the door that said we are closed till March. We do want to come back at another time. Just letting you know that you may not want to pay attention to their website! A phone call may have been better, but who knows?

Whether it is my father or my husband or ANYONE who goes to eat there, the food is ALWAYS delicious!! Her homemade yeast rolls and the bbq are my favorite second to the chicken and dumplings!

This was the best home-cooked food I have ever eaten in any restaurant. Just a small country place, and the Three ladies that operate this place are very sweet and helpful. Will certainly go there again.
